1.) What are your projects from this and next year (2005) ?
There are some releases on different labels and project names :
-st. tropez caps - like a storm - midtown records clubboxx label
-clubbers revenge - standing in the lights - media records
-iker nunez - emotions - kiko vinilo records
For next year there are many plans for new releases , stay tuned ...
for example remix for dj shemma , etc
and new single and new album
also new remixes from goodtime is planned very soon for release,
maybe with videoclip ...
2.) What was the best gig from all countries in last year after for example `USA , Japan , South America , Europe tours ?
Best gig this year was in sopot , poland ,august 2004 , because it was more than 30 000 people showing enthousiasme for the music by dancing and screaming , fantastic...
3.) Can you describe how is the way you work to make music in your studio?
I used to work in several studios on big studio equipments with a lot of hardware,
many synthesizers , like virus C , roland JP8000 , yamaha an1x , roland jv2080 , yamaha O2r mixpanel.
but most of the time now i do everything on a mac powerbook laptop
for recording i am using logic pro7
the choice for a laptop is because i travel a lot , in this way i can bring my studio wherever i go to work on new tracks.
it works great .
i like to use samples in the exs24 sampler from logic , for drums , synths , bass, effects , allmoust everything.
4.) We see you always working or traveling ,do you find time to work on a family life between your busy music scheduels?
My priority at this moment is to make great music and go to as many places possible to promote this.
but in future everything is possible , if i need to make a combination with a family life , it would be nice.
if not , i should make a choice ..
for now at this moment music is my priority.
5.) can you explain why famouse names from this moment are trance djs , for example ; tiesto , van buuren , paul van dijk ..?
It's the music from this time , from this moment what people like to hear.
armin van buuren is an old friend of mine for many years , and he was not a trance dj before.
but playing all kinds of music in a student cafe.
now trance was getting populair ,so it's a logical step to find out if there is a future for them as a trance dj.
also tiesto was not a trance dj in the past , he came to trance , when trance started to become populair at parties a couple of years ago, and he choose to stay in that direction .
Also for myself , i use to be more a club dj , with vocal house when i started to dj in 1996, i found that trance was a nice way for me to make the music what i like to play in partys and in the studio,
trance became so popular in the last few years , now many djs play trance house all over the world,, this makes that top 10 of famouse djs are mostly trance djs now.
but music is changing all the time , maybe in next two years everybody will be more interested in electro house style ,, who knows..
6.) Are you happy with the life you are living with making music and traveling , because not many people are able to do this kind of life that you are doing?
I was always making music since i was a litle kid , i played piano and drums when i was at school , i knew that time allready that music was my future. i was lucky to have a chance to find a way for make this my life . you need luck to find the right contacts at the right moment.
and ofcourse you need some talent too . i dont see myself doing something else , i would mis the life i am doing now, i am happy in the way it is today. ofcourse there are always things to wish , to make you more happy . but accepting what you have is something that i learned.
